About us

We are a small group of friendly caring people.

We meet for worship at 10.30am and have refreshments afterwards. From April 2020 we will meet on the first three Sundays of the month only.

We express our Mission as follows:-

We strive to give true witness to the love of God and the saving grace of God’s Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. We aim to do this through praise and fellowship, welcoming all and sharing God’s love with those who come to us and with those to whom we are sent.

We recognise that we are sustained by those around us, as we work within the Luton & Dunstable Pastorate of the URC, with the other churches in the Heartland Group and with Dunstable Churches Together.

Everybody is welcome!

We are also part of the Heartland Group Pastorate, which in turn is part of the Thames North Synod of the United Reformed Church.

The group of thirteen Churches comprises of three cluster groups

  • Harpenden, Welwyn Garden City, Panshangar and Wheathampstead,
  • Wigmore, St Ninian’s and Bury Park in Luton together with Edward Street and St Katherine’s in Dunstable.
  • Trinity and Homewood Road in St Albans together with Bricket Wood and Chiswell Green.

As a group of churches we will have a team of Ministers working with the elders.

We have regular Steering group meetings that have oversight of the larger group that includes administration along with a Link group that coordinates group pastorate activities and events; please see our calander.
