The service this morning was on the theme of our relationship with the world.A new hymn specially written for the occasion was sung. An inflatable globe was passed round so that each person could offer their own prayer for the world.
The first phase of work to change the appearance of the front of the church building has been completed and looks very smart. The next Friendship Morning will be on September 12th. As usual the purpose of the Friendship Morning is to get to know people in a relaxed atmosphere. This time it coincides with the Sponsored Bike n’ Hike, so there will be a greater variety of people to meet. Everybody welcome!

We kicked off the Advent season on November 30th with a special lunch. About thirty people sat down to a Christmas dinner menu and enjoyed all the usual treats.
